Join Our Winter Rec Competivie Team
Did your child make their middle school basketball team? If not, no problem! The 44 Club is excited to announce a new program - the Winter League Rec Middle School Basketball Team. We still have spots available for middle school athletes who are not currently playing on their school's basketball team but are eager to participate in the game.
Right now, we are offering a range of benefits for joining our basketball club:
Player Development Focus: At The 44 Club, we specialize in developing players and emphasize teaching the fundamentals of basketball. If your child has limited experience in high-level basketball, they can join our basketball league.
Weekly Practices: Unlike school basketball, we hold weekly practices, allowing for more in-depth basketball training with Coach Lucky. This can significantly improve your child's chances of making the school basketball team in the following year.
Competitive Games at Hardwood Inc.: As a part of the premiere basketball league in the upstate, The 44 Club has been involved in the league for 3 seasons. Your child will experience high-quality competition while playing for our basketball club.
3-Month Commitment: This program only requires a three-month commitment. Additionally, if your child is interested in playing in the spring, they can gain a head start in participating in spring travel basketball with The 44 Club.
Time to take action! We are currently offering a special promotional price for the winter program. While the regular price is $60 per month, The 44 Club is now charging only $40 per month for 3 months. This offer is limited to the first ten players who sign up, so act now to secure your spot on the team.

What Is The 44 ClubThe 44 Club is a youth sports basketball club that offers basketball coaching and training at a very low cost. Our focus is not only on basketball skills but also on helping your child become a better person, using basketball as a tool to teach them life lessons. Unlike traditional basketball programs, we prioritize the development of fundamental skills and provide an environment where students can truly learn the game. Our approach emphasizes creating a fun atmosphere for our players, ensuring that they not only learn basketball but also enjoy the process

How Does The 44 Club WorkThe 44 Club works with you by offering a membership typically ranging from 3 to 6 months. This commitment period allows us to establish a solid foundation between our coaching staff and players. Once you purchase the membership, you will need to fill out a waiver before gaining access to practices and participating in games or tournaments with the 44 Club. Upon signing the waiver, you will be linked to our Groupme app, which is the primary communication channel we use to connect with parents. Congratulations, you are now a member of The 44 Club
-
How Does The Membership WorksYou will be charged the amount of the membership on the day you sign up, and this charge will be repeated every month for six months. Please ensure that there are sufficient funds available on your card. In the event of insufficient funds, your membership will enter a grace period, and another attempt will be made to charge the card for the membership amount. You will have an additional seven-day grace period. If the payment fails again, your child will no longer be permitted to attend The 44 Club, unless you sign up for another membership before the next club meeting
-
Is There A Free Trial Or RefundThe 44 Club does not offer a free trial for its membership. However, if the club is not suitable for your child, the club does offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. To receive a refund, you can email Coach Lucky at lucky@the44.org, and the refund will take 3-5 business days to appear back in your account

Is The 44 Club an AAU TeamNot quite. We are different because we use basketball as a training ground to teach life skills and lessons. Our focus is not only on developing players from a fundamental standpoint but also on teaching life skills and developing the whole basketball player. While we do participate in local basketball leagues and tournaments, this is only for players we select to play at this level, typically those who do not have an AAU team. Our primary focus is to prepare players for their upcoming basketball season
-
What Am I Paying For In A Club MembershipYour money is solely for basketball training purposes. We do not charge for our social events, and we do not receive extra compensation for attending basketball tournaments. The fees we charge are solely for the time and effort we invest in helping your child develop their basketball skills. Additionally, your payment contributes to funding basketball tournaments or leagues, purchasing new equipment (such as basketballs, jerseys, tournament fees, etc.), and covering rental fees for basketball gyms and other associated expenses of The 44 Club
-
Can I Join The 44 Club And Also Be Apart Of Another AAU Or Summer Program?Absolutely. However, if you plan to join another AAU/Travel basketball team, your club membership will be for training purposes only. You will practice with us and participate in all the activities and training that our club offers, allowing you to improve your game. However, we kindly request that you prioritize your primary team as your main AAU club. If you have some weekends available to play with us in tournaments, please let us know. However, if you are already committed to another team, we will assume that you will not be able to participate in weekend tournaments with us
-
Can I Pay Per Session Or A Daily PassYes, you have the option to pay per session if you prefer. The cost will be $15 per session, and payment must be made in advance before attending the club. You can book your session by clicking on the button below. However, please be aware that you will still need to complete a waiver before you can participate

What If My Child Does Want To Attend The 44 Club AnymoreWe hope that every child who joins the 44 Club will stay, but we understand that some individuals may decide not to complete the full term. We offer 3-to-6-month terms to allow both the athlete and The 44 Club to get to know each other. If a student chooses not to continue, we respect their decision but require a written statement via text or email. Additionally, the remaining balance of the membership fee must be paid. Once the grace period expires, no refunds will be given under any circumstances.
-
Can I Extend My Membership After My Membership Ends?Absolutely! You have the option to extend your membership with us. As a year-round basketball club, our primary focus is on the development of basketball training. We kindly request that you keep an eye out for any email, text messages, or social media posts that will provide you with the first opportunity to sign up for our club and secure a new membership. We offer three types of memberships: Travel Ball, Fall, and Winter Memberships. We encourage you to promptly sign up for the membership of your choice as it will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, and we have limited capacity. Stay tuned for any further updates and information as the club comes to an end
